Miley Cyrus has released a video for her rendition of Bob Dylan’s “You’re Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go,” which she recorded for the charity album “Chimes of Freedom: The Songs of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International.” The video shows Cyrus recording an acoustic arrangement of the song in an abandoned house with Johnzo West, a guitarist with whom she works with regularly, and other backing musicians. The track appears on Dylan’s 1975 album “Blood on the Tracks.” Cyrus, 19, was the youngest artist to record a song for the sprawling, four-CD collection, which will be released today via the Amnesty International website for $24.99. The digital download of the 76-track album is priced at $19.99. Other artists who contributed newly-recorded tracks to the album include Adele, Sting, My Morning Jacket, Elvis Costello, Steve Earle, Jackson Browne, Maroon 5, Sugarland and Dierks Bentley, among dozens of others. The collection also includes Dylan’s own “Chimes of Freedom,” recorded in 1964.
