This listener was thinking about others who are having a tough time right now. Namely, the survivors of all of the resent storms in Texas, Florida and the adjacent states. Holly from Massachusetts wanted me to play a song for the victims of storms Harvey and Irma. I thought we should include those devastated and displaced by the wildfires out west as well plus all of the first-responders working to get everyone back on their feet. Holly wanted me to choose a song for them. One with the theme of perseverance.

Tracy from Glastonbury is so happy to have found Mathew. It has been a rough road but Mathew has come to the rescue according to Tracy. Tracy told me that they both love music by Hootie & The Blowfish. She said, “Hold My Hand is perfect.”

Another Traci, this one from Torrington allowed me to pull another gem out of the “PillowTalk Hat”. This one by Bonnie Raitt. Traci was thinking of her old girlfriend Melissa. They used to be room mates. In fact Melissa helped Traci raise her children. What a great live version of this beautiful song performed by two of the best!
