Who doesn’t love a good apple crisp on a fall evening? More importantly, who doesn’t LOVE a simple recipe that doesn’t make a big mess and won’t leave you exhausted? Oh and not to mention the smell of this one will have everyone sniffing around the kitchen.

Today’s recipe is a simple dessert that uses everyone’s favorite kitchen appliance, the crock pot. If the ease of this recipe isn’t enough, just wait until you taste it! Check out today’s recipe!


  • 5 medium apples
  • ½ (16 oz) pkg strawberries
  • ½ stick butter
  • cooking spray
  • 1 (6 oz) pkg blueberries
  • 1 (6 oz) pkg blackberries
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup rolled oats


  1.  Peel and slice the apples. Slice the strawberries and melt the butter. Coat the inside of a 6 quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Toss sliced apples, strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries with 2 tbsp flour, ½ cup brown sugar, and the cinnamon. Place in an even layer in the slow cooker
  2. In a large bowl combine remaining flour with rolled oats, remaining sugar, and butter. Mix until well combined and crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over the apple-berry mixture. Cook on low for 2½ hours.
