Fair season continues with…

The Big E is underway at the Eastern States Exposition in West Springfield.  Livestock, food, parades, music, Avenue of the States, the famous butter sculpture and so much more!

The Hammonassett Festival celebrating Native American Heritage at the Guilford Fairgrounds Saturday 10am-7pm and Sunday 10am to 5pm.  Tickets $5.

The Bristol Mum Festival Friday 5-10p, Saturday noon to 10p and Sunday noon to 6pm.  Carnival, vendors, crafts, food trucks, and lots of fun!  Free!

Catch a great new exhibit “Yankees-Red Sox” at the Mattatuck Museum, 144 W. Main Street, Waterbury.  News clippings, ticket stubs, action shots, hats, bats, uniforms and a copy of the Babe Ruth Contract from the Sox to the Yanks, a piece of the Green Monster and a seat from original Yankee Stadium.   The exhibit runs through November 12th.
