2020 MTV VMAs: Complete Winners List

In a year marked by uncertainty, the MTV Video Music Awards brought some normalcy as it showcased the best in music and pop culture of 2020.

Performances are taking place from various outdoor locations across New York City with artists like BTS, Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga, and The Weeknd playing their biggest hits and wowing everyone with an on-stage spectacular. Machine Gun Kelly kicked off the evening as the first winner for the Best Alternative award for his song “Bloody Valentine," but it was a night that very much belonged to Lady Gaga, walking away as the night's biggest winner and the first ever recipient of the Tricon Award.
