Taylor Swift is the latest to have her plans change during the coronavirus crisis, as the GRAMMY-winning singer has announced that she is cancelling all upcoming shows through the rest of 2020. That includes the Lover Fest events scheduled for Los Angeles and Foxboro set to take place later this summer.

“I'm so sad I won't be able to see you guys in concert this year, but I know this is the right decision,” Swift shared in a message on Friday. “Please, please stay healthy and safe. I’ll see you on stage as soon as I can but right now what’s important is committing to this quarantine, for the sake of all of us.”

Several of the festivals that Swift was set to be a part of have already been cancelled, and now Taylor is pushing all other appearances to 2021. That also includes a string of shows in Brazil that was scheduled for July.

“With many events throughout the world already cancelled, and upon direction from health officials in an effort to keep fans safe and help prevent the spread of COVID-19, sadly the decision has been made to cancel all Taylor Swift live appearances and performances this year,” the statement reads, detailing refund procedures and plans to reschedule for the following year.

Swift has been very vocal since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, urging fans to stay home and stay safe. She has also been sending money to fans that have been suffering due to the circumstances of this uncertain time.
