Back in the day there was a T-V commercial that said “when you’ve got your health, you’ve got just about everything.” Health is important, and it’s just one more reason Connecticut’s quality of life just can’t be beat.


Summer’s in full swing and so is strawberry season! Strawberries are the first summer fruit available in Connecticut and, according to the Connecticut Department of Agriculture, the season is off to a great start.

Despite heavy rain in April and May, the weather this month has been excellent for strawberry crops. If you’re looking to visit a strawberry patch and get some ripe berries right off the bush, then you’re in luck. Connecticut has dozens of pick-your-own farms in every part of the state.
