Don’t look now, but the holidays are approaching. There are only seventy-one days until Santa Claus comes to town. For a lot of people, one of their favorite things to do is to catch one or two or even more of those holiday movies. We’ve seen them on Lifetime and on Hallmark and a bunch of other channels, or they’re in theaters. And when you watch one of them, look closely – you might be seeing Connecticut!

Leaf peeping season is in full swing. Did you know that Connecticut has the longest foliage season in New England? Well it does, and due to the wide diversity of trees that can be found in our state, there are more fall colors on disply for a longer period of time—typically until mid-November.

And from trains to boat rides and zip lines—here are just a few unique ways that you can view foliage around the state!
