15th Annual Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma Hartford Walk

Event Description:

The Scleroderma Foundation / Tri-State Chapter will hold its 15th Annual Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma Hartford walk on Saturday, June 30th, 2018 at the University of St. Joseph (Quad).  Registration and check-in will start at 9 a.m. and the walk begins at 10:30 a.m. in the quad. 

This family-friendly event will include patients, families, friends and volunteers as they come out to enjoy an encouraging event that honors scleroderma patients and lifts the spirits of those who support them. All funds raised will help provide education and support services as well as funded research for scleroderma which has no known cause or cure. Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma includes a variety of food, raffles, and entertainment in a fantastic park atmosphere!

Participants can register to walk or sponsor a walker online ( Registration is also available the morning of the event at the sign-up station near the start of the walk. The pre-walk registration fee is $25 for participants 16 years and older, $10 for children ages 5 to 15, and children under five are free. Registration forms and donations can also be mailed to the Tri-State office (see below). Day of event registration is $30 for participants 16 years and older. All registered participants will receive a t-shirt.

This Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma walk is one of twelve throughout the Tri-State area. The walks are essential to our June Scleroderma Awareness Month activities and raise the vast majority of funds needed to continue our mission.
